戦国BASARA • 上杉謙信 / Uesugi Kenshin
No, Vergil does not have a feminine physique, so they do not look alike. Vergil isn't a avid follower of Bishamonten, so they do not act alike. Nor does Vergil associate himself with scantily clothed ninjas. So, why is Uesugi Kenshin on this list?
In a way, they are both similar when it comes to ambition. Nothing will stop them until they've reached their goal and they both have rivals. Uesugi Kenshin's being Takeda Shingen, and Vergil's being Dante. The only thing that makes them similar is the fact that they both fight in a style similar to Iaido. If only
Vergil had a joke weapon which consisted of a bouquet of blue roses all would be good. As you can see, these are all vague references to why they are "similar". They seriously aren't.
This is just my lame excuse to put something Sengoku Jidai related in this website.
In Sengoku BASARA and Devil Kings you can unlock a few weapons which pertain to Devil May Cry. Nouhime / Lady Butterfly's joke weapon in BASARA & Devil Kings is Ebony & Ivory. Also note that she uses her handguns and move around with them while attacking in a smilar fashion as does Dante. Date Masamune / Azure Dragon's joke weapon in BASARA & Devil Kings is Alastor. Like Nouhime, some of his
moves are similar to Dante's. In addition, Sanada Yukimura can be equipped with the Devil May Cry weapon Ifrit as an accessory.
Sengoku BASARA was released under the name of Devil Kings when localized for Non-Asian countries. Note that they are not the same game in terms of play and story. If I explained, it'll seem as if it's only a minor difference. However, it's something that needs to be experienced in order to understand.
