There was an agreement between Capcom and Atlas as Dante would appear in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Kazuma Kaneko of Atlus would design the devil triggers for both Dante and Vergil in Devil May Cry 3. Personally, the design are quite nice, but it seems misplaced in the game. Note that in the Devil May Cry 3 game there is a gallery devoted to Kazuma Kaneko's design for Vergil and Dante's devil trigger.
