The following is a list of actors who have played the role of Vergil or Nelo Angelo in the Devil May Cry series. You may notice that all the voice actors are not Japanese. That is because there never was. In the Japan release of Devil May Cry games, there is only a English voice track. So, basically in Japan releases all you get is English audio and Japanese subtitles. However in Devil May Cry 3, there was a choice between subtitle languages in its Japanese release.

Canadian actor, David Keeley has been credited for the role of Nelo Angelo. Past roles include playing Agent Evan Anderson in The manchurian Candidate.

Jonathan Mallen has been credited for the voice roles of young Dante and Vergil.

In the Devil May Cry 3 soundbook, there is a note from director Hideaki Itsuno. He mentions that "the concept for the visual components [of] the game is 'to show the real thing'". In order to do that, they searched for actors who were able to do both the physical acting and the voices. The actor chosen for the role of Vergil was Dan Southworth. Devil May Cry 3 seems to be the first videogame he's starred in. Past roles include playing Eric Myers/Quantum Ranger in Power Rangers Time Force.
